Jeep set to launch Jeepster compact SUV, check leaked spy footage

The American car manufacturer Jeep is once again ready to win the hearts of its customers with one of the feature-packed Jeepster SUVs. Reports suggest the SUV will be based on the EV concept which is likely to deliver a decent range to customers.

Before its official launch, the vehicle was spotted in foreign countries fully camouflaged, which revealed that the car would come with typical Jeep styling. Reports have also emerged that the company may introduce some of the latest vehicle features, such as ADAS and automatic parking technology.

According to spy footage, it has been revealed that the SUV is likely to come with a full LED setup. Customers can also expect a power sunroof which will be much larger.

If rumors are to be believed, the next SUV will be positioned below the Renegade. Customers could see the all-new SUV with unique styling with sleeker rear styling. The vehicles are also likely to share some of the key features and styling cues from one of the company’s best-selling products, Jeep Compass.

Talking about the front look, customers could witness typical Jeep signature styling which will feature the iconic Jeep grille. Instead of seven slots, the grille comes with seven closed rings.

The company’s midsize SUV will be based on standard front-wheel-drive (FWD) which will be offered in both full-EV and mild-hybrid powertrain versions.

Meanwhile, the company has not confirmed whether the upcoming vehicle will be launched in India or not. As of now, the automaker is focusing on its next launch, the new Grand Cherokee, which is expected to hit the market this year.

The company has confirmed that the all-new Grand Cherokee will be locally assembled and come standard with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine.
